There is no point in being deceptive and trying to claim Kirk Law Office is some big-law operation.  It is a one-woman show. I have been practicing law in Superior, Wisconsin since 2006. I am experienced in many areas of law and can help you solve your legal problem at a price you can afford. I have briefed cases to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals on issues facing estates.  I participated in personal injury jury trials for insurance companies and employers.   I assist businesses owners developing employee handbooks and non-compete agreements, purchase agreements, and long-term planning for owners who want to eventually sell or transfer their business. I serve non-profit organizations helping navigate the paperwork and requirements for establishing foundations, governance, and compliance.

In addition to being a lawyer, I have two children.  By far, a tougher job than being a lawyer.  Believe it or not, kids are more demanding than clients.  In fact, they’ve insisted on having their pictures on my website too. Scroll down to see the pictures of my boys.

I am a member of the Superior Sunrise Centennial Rotary Club where I volunteer at numerous local events.  I serve on the board of directors for the Superior Douglas County United Way and the University of Wisconsin Superior Foundation.   My hobbies include gardening, hunting, reading Russian literature, baking (my favorite is pumpkin pie), and keeping up with my oldest son’s hectic hockey schedule. I presented and spoke at many State Bar conventions and conferences.  I was an instructor for courses in UW-Superior’s Paralegal Certification Program and serve on their Curriculum Planning Committee.

I graduated from UW-Superior (Superior, WI) in 2001 and attended my first year of law school at Quinnippiac University School of Law (Hamden, CT) but decided the East Coast pace of life wasn’t my cup of tea.  I returned to Superior, WI and graduated from the weekend program offered at  Hamline School of Law (St. Paul, MN) in 2006.

Here are my boys…

Did I happen to mention that I am a Yellowjacket?
